Timothy Munnings, a 60-year-old Bahamian sprinter, is competing in his second World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

The 26th World Masters Athletics Championships began in Daegu, South Korea, on August 21, 2026, and will conclude on September 3, 2026.

Daegu previously hosted the World Athletics Championships in 2011 and the indoor edition of the World Masters in 2017.

The read here is that this gathering in Daegu is part of a recurring cycle for the city, though the specific history of the World Masters edition is limited to the 2017 indoor event on the available record.
