AS Monaco will face Le Havre in the opening match of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. The game is scheduled for Sunday, August 23, at 22:15 WIB at the Stade Océane in Le Havre [^1].

Le Havre finished 14th in the previous season with 35 points. They ended three points above the relegation playoff zone under manager Didier Digard [^2].

The two clubs met in their most recent Ligue 1 encounter on January 24, 2025. That match ended in a 0-0 draw [^4].

The read here is that Le Havre enters this fixture as a team fighting to avoid the drop after a narrow escape last year. Monaco, by contrast, looks to start the campaign with a statement win at a new venue [^3].
